Foptec is the company behind Foptec Recipe Explorer, one of the market’s leading IT solutions for food manufacturing companies. Foptec Recipe Explorer is currently used by more than 60 companies in countries around the world. The program offers complete support for managing ingredients, recipes, ingredient lists, nutrition declarations, product sheets, production planning and price calculations. The program is used by ingredient suppliers and ready-to-eat food suppliers in most sub-sectors such as slaughter and charcuterie, seafood, aromas and spices, dairy, ice cream, bakery and confectionery.
Foptec was founded in 2007 and is today co-owned by Lexit Group AS. Lexit Group AS is headquartered in Kløfta, just outside Oslo. Lexit’s production department for labels as well as the sales department and technical department are located in Mölnlycke outside Gothenburg, where Foptec is also headquartered.
